Stereotypes are pre-established ideas, attitudes and beliefs that are applied to people by cataloging them within social categories, whether by their nationality, body, age, sex or sexual orientation. For me there are no pros and cons of stereotypes since each one is the owner of doing and feeling whatever, loving someone of the same sex, dressing as he / she wants, practicing sports that are not "agreed" by their sex, speak as they want, have the man have strength does not mean that it is more than women, not because she is a woman and knows how to cook means more than man, are stereotypes that are given throughout life in my opinion We would have to cut with these things.
Stereotypes are a construction created by society on certain people. In my opinion, stereotypes have consequences, because there are people who think that they have to follow them to be accepted by society, then they begin to change their way of being or thinking in order to be accepted. For example, there are people who think that because they are women, their obligation is to have children and take care of them, or because they are men, they have to work and be the head of the family. We should start to change these wrong thoughts.
Today you can find many stereotypes that are when we put labels to groups of persons of agreement to his physical qualities, which they do, etc. When we are in a stereotype we are in our zone of comfort, for which if we were going out of there we would be insecure and judged that is what we do when other persons go out of this zone of comfort, tend to judge them. Then we get lost of other persons know, remain enclosed in an idea that includes few qualities that make it enter this stereotype. In my opinion there is nothing positive or good at the stereotypes. In the videos seen the class they are perfect examples of since the stereotypes work and as we themselves them admit in our daily life, already when the same girls run as absent-minded, free girls instead of doing it since them same they do it. I believe that to classify the persons knowing few qualities in very badly, in spite of the fact that already we are accustomed to it and some time we will have judged, stereotyped all, I think that with the passage of time and with the conscience and education that this these stereotypes being had nowadays they are going to be disappearing.
The stereotypings, principally is prejudices. They are ideas that define someone with certain discriminatory characteristics. The gender stereotyping preestablece aspects, attitudes, forms and sexuality, assigned factors that compose to the "feminine" and the "masculine". The stereotypes normally give place only to the only concept and it generates rejection without giving the opportunity to know and probably to change of thought. For example, in the firt video "Like a girl" you can see how the same girls and boys use the stereotypes for the girls, when run, throw, etc. And in the other video "Be a Man" they represent to boys like powerful, strong and don't cry and on the contrary, the girls are senssitive, weak and hysterical. I think that not the colors, the gestures, the attitudes, the aspect, the sexual orientation even the physical conditions correspond to the same sex, must not correspond because I think that a person is really for how he/she feels. For this, I believe that it's absurdity. Nothing of this can be determinant, that is to say, more importance must not have that the own feelings of the person. The freedom of being and to feel since it wishes cannot be prohibited. It's necessary citizens with more education, which they achieve to grow in the society speaking and thinking to conscience trying not to hurt to other , eliminating negatives classifications. Thus,we will progress more as society.
*stereotypes are few details that have about a person or group of people who have certain characteristics. Stereotyping is a way of generalize a group of people, because of their age, color, gender, sexual orientation, etc. It's assign some characteristics to that group and make it impossible for those people to be different. Stereotypes are not good at all, in my perspective. They lock up people in a box, and don't let them be their true self. If you are a person who's being stereotyped you feel so bad, because almost all the time you don't fit in that "most be" of the society, so you feel excluded. In the other hand, if you are a person who stereotypes other, you never really know anyone, because you believe what you were told, and never question that. You stay on your comfort zone, being the same close minded person you were raised to be. There's a lot of examples for stereotypes: Girls must be feminine. Boys don't cry. Immigrants come to steal our jobs. Gay people are going through a phase. Being bisexual it's not a thing. Young people don't understand the world. Adolescents don't care about anything. And my personal favorite, because it's so ridículos I can't hold my laugh: feminism looks to put the women above men.

AGUSTINA BAEZ Today, society is full of stereotypes; physical qualities, musical tastes, sexual orientation and many other things.
Stereotyping others, in some cases causes damage, especially psychological, makes people believe that they are something they really are not, they simply think they are a certain way because we put labels on them.
The videos that we saw as the one of the girl who complained at the toy store because there were 2 sectors where one of the toys were "of girls" (dolls, babies, all pink) and on the other the toys "de nenes" (superheroes, autos, all celestial) clearly mark gender inequality. This is why the videos seen are a clear example because they show it naturally and because we are stereotyped, we do not realize it.
In my opinion, classifying people into certain "types" is clearly wrong because we judge and hurt others, but as I said before being so naturalized, sometimes we do not realize it and I include myself because I think we all estereotise others. Luckily, I think that over time it will be denaturalized and we will stop doing it. Today, society is full of stereotypes; physical qualities, musical tastes, sexual orientation and many other things.
